With Your Support

The Zia ul Ummah Foundation team are currently working in Dera Ismail Khan which is alongside Indus River, one of the larger river in Pakistan. Due to the heavy rain, the river broke its bank and the surrounding areas were submerged by 12 feet.

In total 19 doctors including 5 female doctors are amongst #TeamZUF to reach the people in need. Since the start of relief efforts, we have come across thousands of patients who were injured and fighting against different diseases.

Our priority is to provide emergency medical help to children, women and elderly people.

Just one example is an elderly mother who arrived at our camp with her foot severely infected due to an injury caused by walking through deep dirty water and we were able to treat her and save it from being amputated just in time.

We thank our donors for supporting Zia Ul Ummah Foundation to be on the ground and make a real difference to the lives of as many individual people as possible. The current conditions are harsh, but our teams are determined to walk through neck-high dirty water and reach people in need.

Many have responded to our appeal and we are amazed by the level of response, such as the 5 female doctors, who are leading from the front and didn’t hesitate to risk their own lives to help thousands of patients in affected areas.

We urge you to support these sisters and lead from the front to support people in need.
