The Sadaat cant accept Zakat and Sadaqah
It is established in the books of ahadith that a member of the beloved Prophet’s household can not accept Zakat or Sadaqah.
This requirement was to maintain their dignity and status. Traditionally in Islamic states, the family of the Prophet were looked after through state funds. Unfortunately, these special funds no longer exist in most poor communities and as a result, thousands of poor Syeds are struggling to survive.
Zia Ul Ummah Foundation has established a special Sadaat Fund to accept monetary gifts which will be used to provide essential support to Syeds.
Please give generously.
