The Sadaat cant accept Zakat and Sadaqah
The hadith literature clearly states that members of the Prophet’s household (and their future generations) are not permitted to accept Zakat or Sadaqah. This restriction was imposed to uphold their dignity and status. Historically, in Islamic states, the Prophet’s family was supported through state funds. As the direct descendants of our prophet have travelled across the globe and settled in multiple countries, many no longer have access to these types of funds.
To address this, the Zia Ul Ummah Foundation has instituted a dedicated Sadaat Fund, accepting financial contributions to provide crucial support to Syeds. Your generous donations are earnestly sought and greatly appreciated.
Please give generously.
